Daniel is a member of our estate planning, estate administration and asset-preservation group, as well as the business and tax-law group. Daniel focuses his practice primarily on corporate and estate planning, tax and business succession planning, and estate and trust administration. Daniel’s experience includes:

  • Drafting complex estate plans for taxable estates including charitable planning and multi-generational trusts designed to maximize estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning for individuals and their families.
  • Advising families as to asset structuring and succession planning for closely-held businesses.
  • Implementing efficient gifting strategies for business succession including Family Limited Partnerships and similar structures.
  • Preparation of federal estate tax returns for high net worth estates including 6166 elections, Graegin loans, business valuation discounts, and similar strategies.
  • Advising international clients and implementing estate plans for international clients in coordination with foreign counsel as well as administering foreign estate with U.S. situs assets including preparation of federal estate tax returns for non-residents.

Daniel received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude, and Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida.  He was awarded a masters of Law in Taxation (LL.M) from the University of Florida.
